Return and Refund Policies

Overview
At Anime Garage Kits, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, which is why we offer a straightforward return and refund policy for our 3D printed items.
Return Window
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return for eligible items. Return requests submitted after this period cannot be accepted.
Eligible Items for Return
We accept returns on items that meet the following conditions:
- Item is unused and in the same condition that you received it
- Item is in its original packaging (if applicable)
- Item has not been modified, painted, or assembled
- Item shows no signs of damage caused by customer handling
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, certain items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalized orders made to your specifications
- Items marked as final sale or non-returnable at time of purchase
- Items that show signs of use, modification, assembly, or damage after delivery
- Digital files or downloadable products
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Exception: If the item arrives damaged or defective due to an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please contact us immediately with photos of the damaged item.
How to Submit a Return Request
Follow these steps to initiate a return:

Access Your Account
- Click the profile icon in our store's menu, or go directly to account.animegaragekits.com

Sign In to Your Account
- Enter your email address in the "Email" field and click "Continue"
- Check your email for a six-digit verification code sent from our store
- Return to the online store and enter the verification code

Request Your Return
- Click "Request return" for the order you wish to return
- If your order contains multiple items, select the specific items you want to return
- Select a return reason from the dropdown menu
- Add any additional notes or details about your return
- Click "Request return" to submit

Return Approval and Shipping
- Once your return request is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a prepaid return shipping label
- Package the item securely in its original packaging (if possible)
- Attach the return shipping label to your package
- Ship the item back to us using the provided label

Receive Your Refund
- After we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days
Refund Process
Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item.
Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Refund Amount: Your refund will include the purchase price of the returned item(s) minus the shipping cost (unless the return is due to our error or a defective product).
Partial Refunds: In some cases, partial refunds may be granted for items that are returned but show minor signs of use or are not in their original condition. We will contact you before processing a partial refund.
Packaging and Product Protection
Our Packaging Standards
We take great care in packaging your 3D printed items to ensure they arrive safely:
- Items are securely wrapped and cushioned
- Fragile resin parts receive additional protective packaging
- Boxes are appropriately sized to prevent shifting during transit
- All packages are sealed and labeled properly
Fragile Nature of 3D Printed Items
IMPORTANT: Resin 3D printed parts can be fragile, especially thin or detailed sections.
Despite our best packaging efforts, damage can occasionally occur during shipping due to:
- Rough handling by carriers
- Extreme temperature changes
- Compression or impact during transit
- The inherent fragility of thin resin parts
Damaged or Broken Items
If your item arrives damaged or broken:
- Take Photos: Photograph the damaged item(s) and the packaging immediately. Photos of both the broken parts and the box/packaging materials are very important - they help us assess what went wrong in the packaging process so we can make improvements and prevent future damage.
- Email Us: Send photos and your order number to rin@animegaragekits.com
- Replacement: We will arrange for a replacement part to be shipped to you at no additional cost
Please report damage within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a replacement.
Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order for the item you prefer.
